Complementary medicine individualized for your needs.
Hello! My name is Kristine McGinley and I grew up in the wondrous Pacific Northwest. I was born gifted with an innate knowing of the healing capacity of Universal Divine Love. Throughout my life I was often told that I was special but did not fully understand my gifts. I attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI for my Bachelors degree in Communication in Theatre Arts. While at Marquette I was taught the Jesuit concept of Cura Personalis which means "care for the entire person". Our talents, abilities, attributes, personalities, desires, hearts, faith, and health are all equally worthy of care and attention.
To cultivate respect for all that makes up an individual.
I was first introduced to Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in 2010 while living in Seattle. I was amazed by the positive changes I could feel in my body and knew that I needed to learn more about this ancient healing therapy. Soon I was enrolled in the Masters program at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) in Portland, OR where I learned from many talented and experienced practitioners.
During grad school I experienced a spiritual rebirth which allowed me to better cultivate my talents and become more familiar with my natural gifts. This process deepened my understanding of the mind-body-spirit.
I am committed to honoring health on every level - Physical, Mental, Emotional, and Spiritual.
I am fortunate to train in medical Qigong with Master Liu He & Dr. Liu Dong (Ling Gui International Qigong Healing School) and am certified to teach 1000 Hands Buddha Qigong for healing the heart.
I have been practicing this form since 2010 and offer classes 3 times per year.
I utilize my Qigong training to augment treatments with grounded Universal healing energy.
After I received my Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM) in 2016 I traveled to Nanjing, Jiangsu, China where I completed a short course of clinical study at Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
My time there was spent training with accomplished Chinese doctors and herbalists.
Again my understanding of health and treatment of disease was expanded and reinforced.
In 2017 I spent 7 months onboard a Princess Cruises vessel (Sun Princess) sailing around Australia and the South Pacific offering acupuncture to passengers and crew.
I established my private practice in Vancouver, WA in 2018 and continue my process of learning about disease recovery, prevention, and optimum wellness.
I also serve on the Acupuncture & Eastern Medicine Advisory Committee
with the Washington State Dept. of Health.
